English for Tertiary Studies

About Course

English for Tertiary Studies (ETS) is offered face to face. Our ETS classes provide Direct Entry to a SACE partner institutions (see below) after successful completion, without the requirement of an IELTS test.

English for Tertiary Studies is a full-time EAP course for students planning to study at an Australian University, TAFE, VET or Hospitality Institution. The course is designed for students who need to improve their English language to meet admission requirements of the tertiary institutions.

SACE ETS courses include academic English training in:

Academic reading and critical analysis
Academic Writing
Academic listening and note‐taking
Oral presentations and tutorials
Research and study skills
Grammar

Course Duration and Levels

Full Time 25 hours per week

Students may enrol from 12 – 48 weeks, this will depend on the ETS level they start from.

SACE offers four levels of ETS, these are:

Academic English Preparation (Online)

Academic English Preparation is an online course that allows students to start their English studies towards meeting the entry requirements for Australian TAFE, VET and universities, while international borders are closed.
